Western Landcare NSW has created the Life and Light in the Western Region Photobook. The Photobook showcases the land and the people who care for it, bringing together the life and light of the outback from the extreme summers to the powerful rains providing the lifeblood of our rivers. It tells the story of the people who live, work and travel across this incredible country and narrates the history of the generations raised in the red dirt so uniquely characteristic of Western NSW.

The Life & Light Photo Competition will be closing in two weeks! If you have any photos that you think captures something special about living in western NSW be sure to enter it into the competition soon.

The competition is open to photographers of all levels and ages. –
– Professional photographers are welcome to enter the competition for the first time ever.
– If you have a few little ones running around the farm maybe send them out with a camera to take some photos and enter the comp as well!
