Gol Gol Community Reference Group

The Gol Gol Community Reference Group was formed in the early 90’s to rehabilitate and save the Gol Gol Wetlands. The first project the group undertook was to put in $35 000 worth of infrastructure for water management that allowed the rehabilitation and wetting of the lake and nearby swamp. Since this initial project the group has gone on to undertake other responsibilities such as rubbish removal and noxious weed management. Today the Gol Gol Community Reference Group continues to management the waterways for irrigation and environmental watering.
